Privacy policy

In short

  • Your video is never uploaded to our servers. It is processed entirely in your browser.
  • To generate captions we send only the audio of the video to our transcription service (Cloudflare Workers AI). The audio is processed in memory, not stored, and discarded immediately after the transcript is returned.
  • We don't keep the transcript or the resulting video. When you close the page, everything is removed from your device.

What data we process

  • The video's audio: only during transcription, in memory, never stored or logged.
  • IP address: to enforce usage limits and protect the service from abuse. We don't link it to your content.
  • Anonymous usage metrics: audio length, detected language, processing time and error codes. Never the audio or transcript content.
  • Browsing data: through Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies) and Google Analytics, which measures visits and anonymous tool events (such as “captions generated” or “video exported”) without the content of your video or transcript. If ads are shown, also through Google AdSense.

What we don't do

We don't require sign-up, we don't keep your video, audio or captions, and we don't use your content to train models. We don't save the video or the transcript in your browser's storage (localStorage or IndexedDB).

Providers

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: site hosting, transcription (Workers AI), bot protection (Turnstile) and cookie-free analytics.
  • Google LLC (Analytics and AdSense): audience measurement and advertising. They may use cookies and browsing data. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland they are only stored with your consent; without it, Google Analytics only receives cookieless signals.

These providers may process data outside your country with the safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.

Legal basis

We process the audio to provide the service you request (performance of the service). IP addresses and anonymous metrics are processed under our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and running. Personalised advertising only with your consent.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hello@cuesprint.com. Because we don't store your content, we usually won't hold any of your data beyond temporary technical logs.

This policy takes into account the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP). You may lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date on this page. Significant changes will be shown prominently on the site.
