Word-by-word captions, karaoke style
Word-by-word captions highlight each word at the exact moment it is spoken. They guide the eye, follow the rhythm of the voice and make reading effortless.
Add captions nowHow it works
Our transcription model returns not only the text but also when each word starts and ends. CueSprint groups the words into short blocks and, within each block, highlights the one being said.
If there is a pause inside a block, the last spoken word stays highlighted until the next begins, so the highlight never flickers. Blocks break at long pauses and at the end of each sentence.
Make the effect yours
- Words per group: 1 to 5. With 1 word the effect is very dynamic; with 4 or 5 it looks more like classic subtitles with a highlight.
- Style: a colour on the active word (Sprint, Neon, Bold Pop), a coloured capsule (Pill) or opacity (Clean).
- Uppercase: turn it on for short, energetic lines.
What you see is what you download
The preview and the final video are drawn by exactly the same function. Position, size, colours and the timing of every word match in the exported MP4.
Also as a subtitle file
If you'd rather add the effect in your own editor, download the VTT file: it carries a timestamp before every word, the format players use for karaoke-style cues. The SRT has the blocks without the highlight.
