SRT or VTT: which one?
SRT is the most compatible format: YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo and almost every video editor accept it. VTT (WebVTT) is the web standard; ours includes a timestamp for every word, handy for karaoke effects in a web player.
Lines follow your settings
The number of words per group you choose in the editor sets how many words each SRT line has. For YouTube or horizontal videos, 4 or 5 words work well; for vertical clips, 2 or 3.
Private
The video never leaves your computer: only the audio is sent for transcription, and it isn't stored. The SRT is generated in your browser.
